Hi. My name is Farnoosh. On April 15th, 2011, after 11 and a half years, I walked away from a lot of money and security because I could no longer tolerate doing what I didn’t love. I walked out on the corporate world because it was draining my soul and killing my passions. I know how this may come across to the “realistic and practical” mind. Trust me, I was an engineer so I was just like that but in the end, all that matters is that you indeed do what your heart desires AND make a killer business doing it to boot. Apparently, it CAN be done!
After leaving my corporate career, I became a full-time professional blogger, writer, speaker, coach, and digital media entrepreneur. I work for myself. I create my own line of products and services, books and podcasts and classes and I love every minute of it.
1. I started out as a grossly-underpaid engineer in a Fortune 100 company.
2. I learned the ropes and earned 4 top promotions, top paid training and international assignments and a dozen raises during my successful career.
3. I brought up my salary to a nice 6-figure size with bonuses and perks before I resigned.
4. I had vice-presidents as my personal mentors at the company.
5. I mentored many young professionals coming into the company.
6. I transitioned out of my corporate job at its height on my own terms yet in the utmost professionalism and with tremendous respect from my team and management.
