Interview Questions for Mordant: Subtle Ways to Deal with Fear
1. There is a lot of fear to overcome and I am not immune to it either. So Mordant, as a successful radio live show host who talks to a wide range of people including big names and celebrities, I want to know your top tips in overcoming your anxiety before doing a live show.
2. In doing your shows: What would you say is the biggest improvement you have seen in your communication and the second part of that question is why does communication even matter? I want to help my listeners see the relevance between communication and changes in your life.
3. Your theme on Success Freaks is Comedic Motivation – Helping Others Be Awesome. I talk about motivation to my listeners all the time, and I am a big believer of personal development because it has changed my own life drastically. Soooo my question for you Mordant is what role does motivation play in your life and your work and what things do you do to stay motivated?
4. Now please tell us your biggest struggle that you successfully overcame in your communication as you became the professional Talk Radio host that you are.
5. I love giving my listeners homework so this last question is always about something they can do RIGHT NOW – an action they can take after listening to this interview – what would you say to them – to overcome everyday fears and anxieties they feel with their daily interactions? What’s the one piece of advice that they can put into practice now?

Hi Farnoosh; As usual your timing is perfect. Through a linked in group I’m subscribed to I have been invited to be on bryan the hammer’s radio show on blog talk radio today. he is doing a special feature on small businesses and their owners. And at first i was afraid. I’m still a little nervous. I’ve never done anything like this before. But I am telling myself max just let your passion come through. I mean this is what i live for so telling others about it, answering questions, and discussing my business should be easy. but its still stretching myself, so hearing mordand talk about failing forward was just what i needed to hear today. The show starts at noon central, and I’m hoping to be one of the first on because it would make it much simpler to tell my friends and associates where to hear me. And I’m nentioning it here because it will help hold me accountable. now that I’ve told you and your readers, I can’t chicken out. smile Thanks again for having a guest on today who said what i needed to hear and take care my friend, max
Hi Max. I’m Marlee, a fellow reader here at PL. I’m so glad, this podcast spoke to you like it did. Farnoosh has a knack for doing that.
I’m sure you are going to do awesome. Best of luck!
hi marlee; thanks for the encouragement. I had problems with my cell phone even though it had been on the charger for over an hour. i had to call them twice which wasn’t good. i could have done better, but its a beginning a first step where i went outside my comfort zone. and the host bryan the hammer did encourage me to come on again next week and let him know if any progress was made from being on the show. guess i’ll find out next week if he meant it or if it was just one of those things hosts are supposed to say. i was surprised though by how many people who had been talking about doing this didn’t show up today. so, i’m proud of myself for following through. hopefully, it will be like farnoosh’s guest said that i failed forward. and you are so right farnoosh has a real nack for giving us what we need when we need it. I hope to hear more from you in the future. take care, max
Hi Max, exactly what Marlee said and technical glitches don’t count against us so you did great, period.
I am very glad you are taking these important steps to market yourself and your business. First of many to come, I am sure. Keep it up.
Hi farnoosh; thanks for the encouragement. it was due to her reply to my comment and the encouragement of other online friends that i took the host at his word and returned last friday. the phone worked better. the host seams to have taken a liking to me. he invited me back again this coming friday and tried to call me personally. we have been playing phone tag. i hope to catch him soon to find out what he wanted. and yes it is a step in the development of me personally and the growth of my business. one of my friends said keep it up max, next you will be on tv too. thanks again and take care my friend, max
Wonderful interview – I liked Mordant SO MUCH….. his style is so unique. I think the way he talked about fear was something I really enjoyed – I’ve heard a lot of people talk about fear – overcoming it etc etc but Mordant had a really practical and calm approach to it THANK YOU Mordant – and great guest, Farnoosh!!!
Mordant was unique alright and I just knew as we did that segment of the interview that he will resonate – I guessed right!
Glad you enjoyed it, Melly, and whatever you do, don’t let the fears stop you from taking action!
