Farnoosh, thanks so much for creating this page. What a great idea!
Where to start?
I am a twenty something year old girl living in Switzerland with my wonderful husband. I survived anorexia nervosa.
At the beginning fo my recovery, I started to blog (FightingAnorexia) and later podcast about my way to health. The blog has evolved into so much more than just my struggle with anorexia and has become a platform for those who want to live true to their heart, mind and soul.
This turned into a career and I am now successfully coaching women and men all around the world who have issues with eating disorders and poor body image. It is always helpful to talk to someone who knows exactly what you’ve gone through.
I am currently writing my first book (which I am totally excited about).
I love to travel around the world, love to read and have completely fallen in love with yoga. Other than that, I spent a lot of time building relationships with awesome people online.
You can find me on twitter: @anneso87 or google+. I cannot wait to get to know you better.

Farnoosh, what a great idea!

Thanks for creating this space for us all to strut our stuff :-) .

I am of Indian origin, born in Kenya and have lived in the UK most of my life, and in London all of my adult life. I say “adult” loosely as I am eternally childlike and don’t intend to ever change. Why would one want to grow up anyway!?

My life changed dramatically over ten years ago, after spending a few weeks at a charity school in South India – http://www.NirvanaSchool.Org.

I am now committed to a life of contribution, connection and celebration – mostly the last one :-) .

I am a success coach, published author and inspirational speaker and am passionate about helping people be the best they can be, whilst at the same time making a difference in the world.

My main blog is Make It Happen http://www.ArvindDevalia.com/blog and I write about how to be the best you can, whilst leading an inspired, fulfilling life of contribution. And my bestselling book is Get the Life you Love http://wwww.GettheLifeyouLove.com.

I love this idea. I need to do something similar on my blog.

Ok, I help business owners build and strengthen their community. I do this through online parties (Twitter parties, Google+ parties and Facebook events). They are a lot of fun and a great way to promote something. It’s a lot easier to tell someone about a party that you are throwing for a certain product than it is to just tell them that they should buy your ebook, e-course or workshop. I do this at http://partybizconnect.com

I struggled with online marketing and I have a marketing degree, so I know how hard it is to gain traction with the billion other sites out there. I coach and consult my clients through the process of creating a Domino Marketing Effect. The idea is to get people excited about different micro-events that give a ton of value, build your community and turn people into buyers.

They can also check me out on Twitter at @partybizconnect. I give great tips on how to market your biz. If anyone finds me here I would be happy to give a 30 minute consultation to see how you can supercharge your audience and product buzz.

Thanks for the opportunity Farnoosh, so happy to be a part of your community.

This a great idea. Thanks for doing it:)

My name is Kristen J, and I am a risk taking, adventure seeking, travel junkie. I love to make videos and write about my travels so that I can share my experiences with the world on my website http://www.hopscotchtheglobe.com

Traveling is my addiction and helping people is my passion. I want to see the world, meet interesting people, try new things, take chances, explore, learn and share my experiences. I believe in sustainable travel and giving back to the people and places that I visit. I am extremely passionate about helping those in need, and want to spend my life inspiring others to do the same. I believe that by working together, having compassion and developing an understanding for every living being, we can change the world!

Traveling is the best education you can give yourself. The world is your classroom, the people you meet along the way are your teachers and what you learn and take from it is totally up to you! One thing’s for sure is if you keep an open-mind and take a chance, you will learn more about yourself than you could ever learn in a typical classroom. Traveling is my life and has opened up many doors and opportunities that have only brought success and happiness to my life. If you let it, it can do the same for you.

You can find me on:
Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/Hopscotchtheglobe
Twitter -https://twitter.com/HTGlobe

And of course my website: http://www.hopscotchtheglobe.com

Thanks you and Happy Travels!

Another fabulous idea from the equally fabulous Farnoosh!

My passion in life is waking people up from their ‘someday’ thinking. We all know there’s no someday, but mostly we live life like there is and then die with regrets. Not on my shift!

I share my 10+ years experience as a trained coach and my enthusiasm for life at http://www.devacoaching.com/ and on Twitter at @SandiAmorim.

Looking forward to connecting with more amazing people!

Hi Farnoosh,

Thank you for opening this page, it is a great idea. I may have to take this one for my playbook as well ;-)

I am an entrepreneur at heart. Currently I work for myself as an IT Consultant, but my days in the IT field are numbered as I work on new ventures. I have been running my blog for about 7 months now. It has been a learning experience and a joyful one at that. If it weren’t for that, I don’t know if I would have you as a friend.

My talents lie in technology, strategy and writing. I enjoy exploring old world wisdom and learning. My biggest challenge right now is finding the right ideas and pursuits to put my passion behind and create the life I want.

My dad never got around to see my first post since he died 2 weeks before I officially launched my blog, but the joyous look on his face when I told him what I was going to do keeps my commitment intact and fuels my everyday actions.

What a great gesture!
Hi Farnoosh!
So funny not 2 seconds ago we were speaking on twitter about your plans for that haircut! lol.

Okay, My name is Colleen Kelly
I recently about 3 months ago became a blogger. Dan Gheesling who is a terrific blogger http://www.iwouldcoach.com inspired me to give it a try. I LOVE it !
I feel as if my life just started. I took care of my Mom for 10 years 24/7 she had Multiple sclerosis and was bedbound for that 10 yrs. I was her best buddy and it was an honor.
When she past in Dec. 06′ It took me a year and 9 months to want to be here. But Something, someone, came into my life that made me want too.
I got a little selfish. I took care of me for a little, became a gymgirl and lost 120 lbs through diet and exercise.
That was 3 years ago and my blog is a personal development/health/fitness blog. I felt I was given so much, I wanted to give whatever I could back to others who might be able to help find motivation, inspiration and help to reach their goals whether it’s losing weight or climbing a mountain. lol
I am finally finding me, finally in shape and now making plans to finally feel “there”, with that part of life and wondering whats next lol.

Thank you for this oportunity!. Blogger Adrienne Smith http://www.AdrienneSmith.net does this as well , invites others to introduce themselves. I am meeting such giving people. This blog has been a blessing.. Thank you !

Thanks Farnoosh for creating this wonderful resource!

My work inspired by love is to provide practical tips and exercises (not just waxing theoretical) on How to Be Happy. I’ve had my share of enormous struggles in my life and am dedicated to helping others find and love their authentic self.

I’m currently in the final stages of my first feature length self-published book, Happiness for the Practical Mind: 7 Steps to Discovering and Loving Your Authentic Self. It’s fill with years of pain and research into my personal struggles and how I’ve achieved emotional connectedness and happy living. Although I admit, the process outlined in my book is not easy and takes work. It’s all based on action and practical tips and exercises from numerous sources and personal experience and witnessing.

My wife and I also just started a Podcast – thanks to the tremendous help of Cliff over at PodCastAnswerman.com (which I believe you’re familiar with ;-) Our podcast is How to Be Happy Podcast with Jared & Emily Akers where we talk about life, love, happiness, relationships, respect for yourself and your partners in life. It’s a blast as we’ve both been through some amazing things and love just sitting and talking about gratitude and all the struggles and wonders of life.

Farnoosh, you are such a brilliant community builder. That’s part of what makes Prolific Living’s community so fabulous.

My name is Aileen and my blog, http://www.KaizenVision.com is all about small continuous improvement for a fulfilling life. It’s about living Personal Kaizen.

My main focus is not my blog, it’s my business, http://www.EvotiveMarketing.com. I began it in 2011 with my Husband, G, and started by simply helping some friends better market their businesses. My background is marketing, sales and business development and his background is IT (information technology). We learned these two areas work well together.

This year 2012 the focus is building the business with right partnerships, meaning working with clients and partners who are the right fit.

Our specialty is helping people identify the spirit and essence of their business, and clarify what it is that makes their business unique. Then we look at how to best get their business known to the potential customers who are looking for what their business offers. We do this mostly by using the internet to build out their online presence and online reputation in a way that reflects their businesses essence and personality.

Hey Fanoosh, I love the idea of this page. We have become a little acquainted through Twitter (@JustChuckinIt) but I would like to give a bit more of a personal side about me,

I am completely new to travel, I went through my entire life being raised to take on a labor job, and I am the fist one in my family in generations to travel outside the U.S. I do feel foolish sometimes by the lack of knowledge I may have about the rest of the world, but the good thing about that is I am learning so much amazing new things everyday. I feel like a little kid again, we always wonder what happened to our imagination, and I think it disappears in the jobs we settle for, so everyday I feel so giddy to be traveling.

All the family I have left now is my brother, and before I left the US, I told him my plan to sell everything, quit my job, and travel. Immediately he told me I wouldn’t be his brother anymore if I did, and we barely talk these days, but I know it’s because he can’t understand. Blogging has helped me break my walls down greatly, and I confide in a lot of my posts because I have never been able to previously, and people like you help a enormously with that.

On the lighter side, my main goal is to inspire others in my situation, or any for that matter, to chase their dreams and see the world. I love my Converse obviously, but it’s because they are the one thing that never lets me down! I’ll be in New Zealand for a year, and everyone expects this “phase” to end, but after New Zealand, the world awaits! Thank you!

If anyone would like to check out my blog, it tends to be more on the funnier, silly, and fun side of travel featuring embarrassing stories. I also am very visual, and my posts are packed with photos from my adventures.

Hi Farnoosh,
thank you very much for creating this space for us, it is an absolutely fantastic idea!

Well my story is complicated, like every one else’s. I am 22 years old and I am amazed with life and people. Helping people is the reason I live for.

I have huge dreams and purposes for my life and I am trying step by step to make them come true!

I created the Breathe. Live. Dream. Inspire (http://higherpotential.wordpress.com/) blog so I can share with other people anything that would leave a message to their hearts.

I do not claim to be perfect but I do know certain things and I am still learning from life! I plan to share that knowledge with anyone who is open to learn!

I face a lot of challenges everyday in my life, but I’d like to believe that, that is what people have to face when they are searching for their true self.
The thing I am proud of so far is my ability to care about people.

Great initiative!

My story is simple: I’m a traveler and I write stories.
You can call me passionate about traveling…yes, you really can.
We are now traveling with our two children aged 7 and 10. We provide them with roots and wings: a safe homebase here in the Netherlands and 2 or 3 times a year life-changing experiences in totally different parts of our world.

I hear you thinking, life-changing? Yes, we believe the world is actually the best teacher around. By taking in different cultures and countries we are teaching our children important life lessons.

I blog at Act of Traveling. The blog does not carry boring itineraries or hotel reviews, but instead I write about the real value of travel. I combine travel destinations with insights on how to improve your travel experience. Sometimes I tend to become poetic or even turn into a sentimental idiot. Watch people, cultivate serendipity, enjoy the differences; yes, I’m passionate about traveling and I can enjoy even the most simple things we encounter while on the road.

Oh, I love photography! No travel story is complete without great pictures and I own a lot of them. Join the Act of Traveling to read stories from travel destinations around the globe, special series on traveling with kids in tow and lots of answers and tips on how to improve your travel experience.

One guy recently wrote me: “Wish you could put me inside of your suitcases.”

This is an awesome idea, thanks Farnoosh!

I am a marketer. I believe anyone that’s in business is a marketer. You have to be. Without marketing your business will not survive.

I created The Coaching Cave to help coaches and consultants increase their business while actually working less.

I teach them very effective marketing strategies, both online and offline, to automate client-attraction, to build an automated membership site and to set up their own affiliate programs.

I’m big on setting up systems in your business that run on autopilot no matter if you’re “working” or not. That’s a real business.

Hi Farnoosh, I love your marvelous idea of introducing like-minded bloggers to each other.

Here is a little something about myself:
I am in love with traveling. I am in love with writing.
I am in love with discovery. I am in love with life itself.
I blog about these, basically I walk the talk, I walk MY talk.

If there is something I couldn’t stand, it is the apathy of life and lack of drive.
People are born with gifts and yet these gifts they never give.

Just a little over twenty-two, I never think of myself as somebody who changes the world.
But I do know a thing about being the change I would love to see.
So day and night, I write and write.
Writing about the changes I would love to see.

“Adults” in my country, pardon me I am an Asian,
think I’m worthless doing things that never have much to achieve.
Dexterity and diligence is our traits,
don’t spoil our image with your dream of this fad.

You wouldn’t achieve, you couldn’t achieve.
Just a young’ un over twenty two,
Barely decades they would say.

Farnoosh, this is a marvelous idea of connecting like-minded people.

My blog is about living the life you want, I call it living life to the point. Life is too young to get wasted. We wait for someday to achieve great things, we wait for someone to tell us it is okay to do what we love. We wait and wait like we have all the time in the world. The truth is we don’t.

I am not one to wait around. Everyone doesn’t have the luxury of time to do that. We only have now.

We only have now to be living in. We only have now to be doing the things we are passionate in. We only have now to be happy. That is why I am writing a book on happiness, You Don’t Have To Purchase Happiness. Currently, I’m looking for stories and inspirations to include in this book. If you have one to share, please post it on

Hello Farnoosh and friends,

What a wonderful idea. Many thanks to you Farnoosh.

I am an author, success coach and EFT practitioner.

Like others who come to coaching later in life, my journey has led me here. After dropping out of college, more than once, I succeeded in earning four degrees, including a doctorate in human development from Harvard. I now teach people what I learned during my journey: how to get out of your own way and live the life of your dreams.

My book, Three Secrets to Academic Success, is available from my website, http://www.AcademicSuccessForAll.com.

I am about to release a couple of new products there as well.

The first is my Guide to the A.R.T. Process for Achieving Success (tentative title). The A.R.T. Process is something I teach in my coaching practice. I’m so happy to be able to offer a guide for people to use this process on their own.

I am also close to releasing my College Success Toolkit. This toolkit is designed for anyone who has struggled to attend college or to complete a college degree. The toolkit will include the Guide to the A.R.T. Process, a College Success Strategies Workshop, which I am now putting the finishing touches on, and a workbook to help you through the many exercises that are suggested in both the A.R.T. Guide and the Workshop.

And I have plans to add a number of extras to the toolkit as well, included guided visualizations and relaxation exercises, all of which I find essential for achieving success.

Anyone who is interested in these offerings can learn more from my website, which you can reach by clicking on my name at the top of this post.

Thank you again Farnoosh!

This is a great idea! I have extensive senior level financial consulting and tax experience and continued to build ideas around my other passions of endurance sports and goal setting. This launched many of my endurance sports businesses including the largest worldwide race database and now two books. The focus on the new book Never Say “I Wish I Had” 30 Days to becoming your own Chief Goals Officer has been instrumental to me personally helping individuals to focus on goal setting in all aspects of their lives.

Hi Farnoosh and Fellow Readers,

I’m Jason Scott, and I blog at http://www.makethemgreat.com. That’s the place where I share my thoughts on all sorts of topics relevant to self improvement and supporting others. I’m not perfect, but I certainly care enough to try.

I am one of those folks that slipped into the doze that comes with a decent salary at a huge company. Comfort held me in place for a decade before I snapped out of my professional coma. I’m now securing speaking gigs and expanding my work motivating teens. This is also the year that I will write the book that’s trying to burst out of my chest.

I will have a good look at the work of some of you good people that have introduced yourselves. We can encourage fellow tryers, we could all do with the support. I wish you all the best.

Thanks for the opportunity, Farnoosh! Take care.

I’m a former music radio personality who probably would still be on-the-air if not for the deregulation and automation of the medium. I have always understood words more than math and now in middle age have finally found my true love, but because the aforementioned and recent poor employment market ,I have yet to touch her for real again, but learned and built a relationship with her on Skype, You-Tube and other modern internet tools as well as good old-fashioned “snail mail”. I began my blog (Achilliad.wordpress.com) in 2009, reluctantly at the urging of one my college alums who knew the English major in me. I vacillate between joyously silly and sullenly lonely right now, until I get my funds together to fly over to her in Ukraine. There is even a movie being made about our ‘impossible dream” by some local Nashville film students!
I seem to always tackle tough assignments in life – maybe it is my lot as a perceived leader and Capricorn. Sometimes I want to just give-up. I loved the stories of Edgar Allen Poe growing-up and hope to write something really scary that people will want to purchase and read before I die.

Just testing because I just posted a little introductory self introspection, but do not see it here posted. I’ve always understood words more than math problems since grade school. At the urging of some of my fellow Alum from Adelphi University, I reluctantly began blogging in 2009 just to vent about unrequited love. Twenty seven months later, my blog has over 10,200 hits, with 7K just in the past twelve months! Who Knew?
Twenty months ago, I met my true soul-mate but due to the implosion of my old career as a radio personality because of deregulation and automation, just before I met her, I was unemployed and have had to re-invent myself. This slowed my ability to travel over to Ukraine where she went back to after we first met and she helped me get my first US passport! Now my money is just beginning to return and she has waited for me so long that now she is beginning to lose hope I will ever get there due to my financial situation. It is what occupies my mind day and night. I vacillate between silly joy and lonely depression; loved the work of Edgar Allen Poe growing-up, and hope to write at least one scary story that people will want to buy and read before I die. I am now middle-aged and feeling the urgency like never before to MAKE “something” as my fiancee` says, happen! Sow times I just want to give-up, though.
I always seem to bite-off the seemingly impossible goals – maybe that is why friends think of me as “leader” – or maybe because my birthday is in January and I’m the first to get the next older age, LOL I published two books in the past year: one poetry and my first memoir. you can see them on my achilliad.wordpress.com blog site.
Regardless, that is the short version. Follow me on twitter @imijcheetah (“Cheetah is the nickname my Inna gave me when we first began to Skype and use all the other modern internet tools plus snail mail to build our relationship). Thanks for giving me a way to wind the clock while at the office today here at the newspaper,LOL!

Farnoosh, this is such a great idea! I plan to read all the other posts and go to their sites and/or blogs etc. This is just such a cool idea. I pray the universe rewards your generosity in wonderful ways.

Here’s a little bit about me.

I’m a self-care coach and love helping people learn how to take better care of themselves.

One way I combat all the negativity we are exposed to daily is by sending out for free regular positive, up-lifting, soul-feeding, motivational, action-taking material to fill your mind with good thoughts. (If anyone is interested you can sign up for this on my website. See address below.)

I recently started a charity site called Radical Giving (http://radicalgiving.weebly.com) which is all about helping others to help others. It’s a place where we can join together, all doing our part, even if small. Where our collective effort can go a long, long way in making the world a better place. One person cannot do it all, but a lot of somebodies-can really make a difference. I encourage you to go visit the site. I’m really excited about this project.

Greetings Farnoosh and Friends!

This is an awesome chance to share with people from all over, with plans and ideas that are making a difference! Keep it going!

I am a Reinvention Coach- I help people find what is missing in their lives and make it happen. I was there myself, wondering what my purpose in life was. Stuck in the grind of a low-paying JOB that exhausted me and ate away at my soul.

Then one day I just decided to take a leap of faith and quit that job and start my own business. By helping others, I end up helping myself, a happy by-product of following my dream. There is something magical about helping someone see the genius they possess and coax it to life.

And we get to enjoy the process. Nothing more important than having laughter to help you look at the world as brimming with possibilities!

So, I am a Coach- especially for people who want to figure out their purpose, and for people needing to organize their life, and for people in Direct Sales wanting to be more successful. I am also a trainer, and speaker, so check out some articles, seminars and get a free report to jump-start your Year of Success!

Whatever you do in life, enjoy the time you spend at it, you don’t get any do-overs!

Join me in creating your best life,
Tyra

45 Lissie January 28, 2012 at 7:54 PM

Gosh so much coaching going on around here! Blogging and living well isn’t really my area, but I was lucky enough to meet Faroosh in NZ so here goes.

Hi my name Lis and I’m not-so-evil Internet Marketer. I got into Internet Marketing because of the usual midlife crises nonsense – hated my job, did wan’t to do it for another 20 years, cut into the time I had for living and travel – usual stuff.

I’m anti-marketing marketer – I’ve seen far too many good people being ripped off by marketers – most of whom make a living by lying about their income, number of sports cars, and by flogging the dream to the new and gullible.

Just in time discovered there are a few good people out there – and its possible to make a living – but it evolves an awful lot work – bummer -even on the Internet there is no free lunch.

Totally tongue-in-cheek I am a Z-List Blogger http://lissowerbutts.com/z-list-blogger-the-manifesto/

I actually do know something about travel though: http://listraveltips.com/

What a wonderful opportunity you are giving us Farnoosh! Thank you.

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading everyones comments and learning about all the interesting and inspiring things your community are doing with their lives.

I am a Relationship and Sex Coach and a Weight Loss Coach, as well as being a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist and NLP Practitioner.

I am passionate about supporting and empowering my clients and love that I have found work that engages all of my natural skills and inclinations as well as those I have learnt and practiced.

I live in New Zealand with my wonderful husband, step son, 2 dogs and cat in a beach settlement. My husband and I have come to an amazing place of true, full, deep and rich love off the back of an incredible struggle with addiction (and recovery) and can atest to what is possible in love when you really commit to it, yourselves and your partnership.

This is where my Relationship coaching work began and then was extended to Weight Loss coaching following many years of research, testing, trialing and finally suceeding. And my two niches are actually more interlinked than one might think, given when we realise true love for ourselves and our bodies, we are more able to fully express and receive true love with another. And of course the sexual element always benefits when one or the other partner feels confident and free with their bodies.

Much gratitude and love to you Farnoosh for this great idea!

Hi Farnoosh,

First I want to say how much I adore you and your blog. I started as just a reader and have been slowly buying and listening to everything that you put out. I love this idea about self promotion and I want to give it a try but I am a bit different than the others…

I am a happily married mother of two dogs who loves to travel and loves minutia! I have no desire to blog or give advice, I just want to do research and put numbers in columns :) . While most people want to be the star, I just want to be an amazing back-up dancer. I am great at what I do and I just wish I could find someone like minded to work with. Ten years ago I almost died due to an illness and since then I have always been unapologetic in my appreciation for life and my constant stream of ideas to make the world a better place.

On top of all of this I am usually nauseatingly positive (and it gets worse if you add coffee). So I am putting it out into the universe… I am the most amazing, inspired, positive, supportive person who wants to research and discover for someone who “gets it” like I do. I currently do work for the big government health organizations and it just kills me to see how the focus is not about the people but about the politics.

Whew, that felt pretty good. A little scary putting myself out to be judged but pretty darn good.

Mostly, thanks to you Farnoosh for you infusions of enlightenment into my soul!
Sarah

49 Syndee February 2, 2012 at 11:14 PM

Hey! I’m Syndee.

At 31 I can honestly say that my life rocks! I have the most fulfilling job in the universe (for me), I have stellar relationships with everyone in my family, and I’m married to a most righteous n’ rockin’ man whose solidity + constant love is an anchor + a gift. Honestly, life just keeps getting better.

It wasn’t always this way.

I’ve been to hell + back and thankfully the worst of it seems like a past life at this point. Seriously, having spent my teens in a terrified stupor and a chunk of my 20s in an abusive relationship with a man who developed adult onset schizophrenia, seems just about as real to me as having been a mermaid in the North Sea. What I do remember vividly are the lessons I’ve learned + the tools that got me from hellacious there to ridiculously awesome here.

Life didn’t just magically get awesome.

I worked at it with ferocity, like my life depended on it, because the truth is, it did. Once I got off the path of the living dead and the pieces of my grounded, sustainable, self-respecting, and insanely fun life started falling together, I didn’t dim down my hunger for growth and transformation. I’m still ravenous for life, and I bring my fullness to everything I do. I’m all about riding my learning edge and discovering who I really am underneath all the snake skins that are ready for shedding. I use everything I learn and everything I know, in the bounds of my belly and the buzz of my bones, as a compass, guiding me always home to the deeper ground of my being.

It rocks my universe to guide you home to yours!

The bottom line is…

I’ve got a mother lode of lived experience, a bucket full of training, mega intuition + a whole lot of salves I can whip out when you skin your knees. Plus I spend 40 hours a month with my mentor getting my blind-spots pointed out, my life surfing skills updated + my self-love-o-meter tuned. I walk my talk. My life is living proof. This stuff works!

I have a BA in Holistic Health, Nutrition + Dance, a Masters in Communications and Indigenous Studies, I’m a certified Herbalist and I’ve been a student of the Healing Arts for 15 years. My training includes Cranial-Sacral Unwinding, Polarity Therapy, Sensation Tracking, Sensory Re-patterning, Reiki, Somatic Movement Therapy, and I’m a Certified Massage Therapist. I lived in Western Australia for 6 years where I taught movementand holistic lifestyle programs, built my bodywork practice and inherited one of the best dogs ever to roam planet earth, Balya or ‘B’ for short.

This stuff is learnable and I can teach you!
So what are you waiting for? Check out my crazy fun, super grounding, life transforming programs!

Beautiful Farnoosh,

Thank you for making a space for us to share about our passion. You are a sweetheart!!

Hello everyone,

My name is Neseret Bemient. I’m a mom, Writer, Mental Health Nurse, and Life Coach. I enjoy assisting working moms who struggle with depression by showing them how to find inner peace and their true purpose in life, so that they can overcome their challenges, THRIVE, and create meaningful and successful life for themselves their families.

I believe “The aim of life is self development. To realize one’s nature perfectly – that is what each of us are here for.”

I also believe ”Every person naturally wants to become all that they are capable of becoming, this desire to realize innate possibilities is inherent in human nature, we cannot help wanting to be all that we can be. Success in life is becoming what you want to be…”

I have created a blog (The Journey of Hope) to educate and empower women about the process of recovery/healing. The journey of hope is about the journey of healing. It is about compassionately looking at yourself and others and the challenges you face in your life. It is about learning to overcome those challenges, accept and love yourself for who you truly are. Ultimately the journey of hope is about finding inner peace, love, joy, contentment, happiness, and success. It is about becoming all that you were meant to become.

This is marvelous. Great idea Farnoosh and thanks for this opportunity!

Myself, an Indian currently living in UAE. I am a blogger, photographer and music lover. I believe every person by nature is a ‘go getter’. We are naturally inquisitive and curious and we like to learn, explore and ask questions. You can relate these words to any kid in the world. But somewhere down the lane this becomes a forgotten fact.

I basically blog to remind myself of this natural fact, to ‘Go Get Something Done’.

Hi Farnoosh, and thanks for providing this space; it’s an excellent idea! I’ve looked over the previous commenters and have found some great new blogs to read.

I’m a freelance writer and student in library and information science, and I’m fascinated by the effects of new technology on the ways we find, evaluate and use all types of information. My blog is about the social web and technology:

http://socialwebqanda.com

I think one of my strengths is the interesting perspective I bring to these topics. I learn about information in the classroom and work at a large academic library, but I also interact with bloggers and entrepreneurs online on a daily basis. These two worlds naturally have some different values, but I think they are more compatible than you might think.

I read a lot of blogs about SEO, social media and how to market your blog, but in mine I try to dig a little deeper into the context and background of these issues, as well as the social and cultural issues at stake.

One of my biggest challenges is fighting my urge to keep building new sites and focus on the ones I already have! Creating websites is definitely a hobby that can take up a lot of time.

Looking forward to continuing to meet the community here. If anyone is interested in connecting:

Hi Farnoosh,
Love this idea.

I am a mother, girlfriend, blogger, runner, entrepreneur and happiness seeker.

My personal development journey began about 15 years ago. Up until then there had been a grey cloud hanging over my life–a sort of dull ache on the backdrop of my existence; this is not to say that there weren’t good times, but I knew that there could be more of them and that they could be even better; I just didn’t know how to get them.

And so began my journey of Getting to Zen. Zen to me is feeling content and at peace; it is feeling capable of handling any challenge that comes my way; it is being humble, simple and honest with myself and with others.

I believe in personal success through action.

What a great site! What great people posting!
I have had a great prolific life, as I see and feel it. I’m now closing in on the 85
mark, and going strong. I had careers as aerospace engineer, automotive and product designer, etc., but more important to me, has been a lifelong passion to understand the BIG QUESTIONS, which I pursued intellectually, and finally experientially. Thirty years ago, I went through the big experience, which silenced all the questions and initiated me into a life of peace, love, and beauty.
After a couple of decades of grooving on life, more or less as a recluse, I decided to reenter egoworld, to do what I could to support folks on their paths to awakening. I presented a few workshops, seminars, and classes, and spent a lot of time developing an intellectual description of, well, that to which the questions try to point.

I recently published a book on the events of my life journey that prepared me for the big experience. And, I have started a blog which I hope folks will discover. I am also participating in a number of websites and blogs, hoping to share what little wisdom I may have picked up from my personally prolific life.
I would be happy to contribute some of my “out of the box” philosophy here. Bless you all! John

Great idea, Farnoosh. Prolific by name, and prolific by nature, I think!

Hello everyone. I’m a UK based behavioural skills trainer, specialising in Negotiations, Conflict and Team Development. Been in the training world for 16 years, and loved every minute of it.

I first got to know Farnoosh when I was co-running a Leadership course back in the Dark Ages when Farnoosh still had a “JOB”! We’ve kept in touch ever since.

I Blog about behaviour, mainly related to my favourite subjects. My Blog is called “Real Learning for a Change”, because there is in my experience a lot of mediocre training out there which may have good content but makes no difference to anyone. People get it cognitively, but do nothing with it. For me, training is about making a sustained difference to behaviour, and for that you have to engage all the senses and, critically, engage their emotions. Training that fails to do that does not make a change, and I like to think that mine does.

I have found that the more senior audiences I work with appreciate being reminded of the basics. We have all become so BUSY that we lose sight of what’s important, so I can often offer a service in providing what I call “wake up calls for people who have fallen asleep at the wheel.” That’s what I Blog about.

You can find my Blog at htpp://www.reallearningforachange.com , and from there the links to Facebook etc are easy to find. I also create short videos on Negotiations and Conflict: my You Tube channel is

http://youtube.com/user/mikebrown007

I’d love to have you Subscribe, as I’m fairly new to Blogging and would like to build more of a debate through my Blog.

Best wishes all.

Love you idea so I don’t mind if I promote myself. It feels good frankly to have permission. I guess I need to give myself more of that.

I am a quiet type that has become over 30 year a very good therapist according to my clients. I am taking a leap from the world of working for agencies to working for myself. I have an idea I am passionate about:
I want to help people who care about other people and the planet. In my heart I am both compassionate coach and social activist. I believe in human nature and the collective wisdom of us all working together for a better world.
I know I don’t have all the answers but together I know we do. I can help you expand your mind, open your heart, find your purpose, access your inner resources, and live an inspired life.
I am transitioning my Explore Life Journal to my new evolve incarnation called Personal Development For The Planet.

Hi everyone –

I’m Alex and my blog is http://milkthepigeon.com/

I was (am?) like a lot of 20 somethings — lost after I graduated college, working jobs just for money and just because I was supposed. I had no plan.

I ended up quitting and moved to China for a year, and when I returned to the United States I started http://milkthepigeon.com/ to help other lost 20 somethings do 3 things:

#1 Become unlost (More of a human issue, but especially prevalent in 20 somethings)
#2 Live a meaningful life
#3 Create something extraordinary (whether that’s your life, a business, or some mission/deeper purpose)

I also blog a lot about success and qualities of successful people, as it’s a near obsession of mine.

In my opinion, beyond the money and success, beyond even happiness or excitement, we just want to feel like our life has been worthwhile. That what we do matters. We want to feel like the things we do, the people we love and that love us, and the work we engage in for so many hours of the day all have meaning.

Stop by and say hi, add me on twitter @milkthepigeon or email me Alexander / at / Milkthepigeon.com.

Hi Farnoosh,
Well, can you believe this…..a page where you can promote yourself and give any backlinks and spam about everything!!!! Leaving all shame behind, here I go…

I am a software engineer at Baltimore, MD and have recently taken up blogging. I own and operate a single blog – http://www.dailymorningcoffee.com.

I manage to come up with unique articles about blogging, SEO, affiliate marketing, wordpress and everything else under the sun. I do not have a specific niche to which i stick to and hence the diversity of topics in my blog.
I strongly believe in guest articles and I have written a few which you can read here – http://www.dailymorningcoffee.com/about/.

I also welcome bloggers to submit relevant articles to my site. Those interested can take a look at my ‘Write For DMC’ section here – http://www.dailymorningcoffee.com/write-for-dmc/

There are also some affiliate promotions happening on my site which are mainly recent deals and coupons I have found which I would like to promote to my readers. However they are all under separate categories and doesnt come in your way of reading my blog. Those who would like to follow the product promotions can look it up here – http://www.dailymorningcoffee.com/category/livingsocial/

Last, but not insignificant, do follow me on twitter and like my facebook page to get regular updates from DMC!!!!!

Hello Farnoosh and the Prolific Living community!

I am a brand-new blogger and I still have a ton to learn, but I’d love to share my blog here!

I recently retired from my practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology in order to lead a more balanced, more fulfilled life. In my blog, drquinnmedicinewriter.blogspot.com
I write my thoughts about medicine, and why I decided the practice of clinical medicine was the wrong path for me. It took several years of soul-searching before I decided I was ready to leave my career for a new path, and I’m hoping to write about it all there, and soon to expand to other related health- and life-improvement topics.

I hope to have a website soon; it’s in the planning stages
I have a brand new facebook page, Dr Quinn Medicine Writer, which I am just about to share with my friends and need to populate soon!

Thanks for the opportunity to share,
Julie

Hi all. Thanks for this opportunity, Prolific Living Community.
I live in the almost Wilderness of Saskatchewan, Canada.
In no way is this a burden. True, I’m a bit distant from all lot of man-made finer things in life but I have only to step out my door to embrace a richness of space and time…mind, body and spirit.
I think of myself of myself as an Inner Wilderness Guide and SoulPlay Detective. My Special area of expertise is guiding others OUT of Self Sabotage and |INTO Success.
Clients tell me that I create a safe place for them to show up as themselves, find Relief, Self Awareness, Empowerment and celebrate Who They ARE.
good to know as my Tag line is:
“Be Real, Find Freedom.
Show Up for your Self
One Small Loving Step at a Time.”

and so it happens. Releasing old habits that no longer serve and discovering, embracing and implementing new habits , one small step at a time that lead into a Big Life is a path well worth exploring. Using a light gentle touch, humor and deep listening skills to find the Questions that will change lives. The client has their own best answers. They are the expert on their life. It’s not as hard as one thinks but it can take time.

This is such a great idea Farnoosh.

I am new to the blogging world. I have always loved writing but never really felt the need to publish it across the web.

I love travelling, climbing and learning about myself and what inspires me, and in doing so share my lessons with others as well as learn from others too. If you share with others the positive energy and give the very best of you(without forcing it :P ) then you will get just that in return.

Hey there,

Thank you for the collaborative forum! That is what it’s all about IMO.

I am the founder of a personal development company called poii: power of image international. Through trainings, workshops and one-on-one coaching – women have access to a system that transforms the mundane task of “getting ready for the day” into a lucrative, creative process. Using the fundamental connection between outer image and inner essence, poii re-frames the styling process as a concrete, actionable way to forge deep connections to self/others and transform outdated aspects of the personality- with the ultimate goal being conscious EVOLUTION. It unpacks everything delicious about being a woman into one simple practice that women already do every single day.

We create opportunity and environments for personal evolution. At poii, connection is the goal and Beauty is the aftershock, the reflection in the mirror once the work has been done. What happens in between is transformation: that’s where poii comes in. A lightening quick vehicle for change; A daily practice for connection; A fun, inspiring and motivational tool for making your way in the world.

“poii will give the you best reason to get dressed, every day, for the rest of your life.”

Dear Farnoosh,

First of all, the space you have created here is so brilliant and an excellent opporutnity to know about fellow bloggers. Honestly, I have book-marked this space.

My name is SV and Iam the blogger behind http://www.mycreativeedge.com, a fairly new blog with Mind Power and Success Skills for you and me.

The blog is the birth child of two great books that have influenced my life for the good. Napoleon Hill’s ‘Think and Grow Rich’ and ‘The Laws of Success’. As a result the last 2 years have resulted in various brainstorming sessions between my Conscious and the Unconscious Minds.

In the end the winner was obviously my Unconscious Mind, which explained that it worked upon the Power of Abundance using the Infinite Intelligence it had. I accept it.

Hence I created this blog to explain to the outside world on the lessons of life that I have learned and will help others too. My vision is too soon break the chain of regular full time job and dwelve into my passion of blogging and the internet.

In addition, to this stubborn passion, I enjoy time with my family, having a 3 year old boy as the center of attraction. I enjoy reading PD books, sometimes romance and fitction. I love cooking good food and my dear husband enjoys eating well cooked food. So we make a great pair there too.

I have great list of places to visit on earth, which I haved noted on my blog, so that I dont forget them.

You can also find me on facebook

thanks much, SV

I rediscovered my long lost love for teaching and writing, which I just loooove doing each week at http://ownyourlifecoaching.com

I live in Belgium, fell in love with Iceland and just adore the smell of cinnamon.

Lovely idea Farnoosh!

To start, my name is Christina but everyone calls me Kiki. Born in the US but now live, permanently, in Belgrade, Serbia. I’m a writer, dreamer, political lover, and traveler at heart.

I started my own company which has been slow to grow called Indigo Creations (http://iccopywriting.com). Things are finally coming together in a weird way I didn’t quite expect. That’s how it works, isn’t it? :) When I’m not working on the website or building relations with potential clients, I’m writing on one of my personal blogs such as Trek for Truth (http://trekfortruth.com) which covers the daily life, politics, and stereotypes of living in Serbia. There are a few other projects in the making, too, where I’ve paired up with some amazing people that I hope will be underway soon. It’s all about timing.

Right now, I’m trying to get out from under my current job. Yes, it’s nice because I get to work from home, but it’s not my company and I’m still stuck in the 9-5 rut, making some money for someone else. I have no freedom still, my motivation for much of life is still sucked from my soul, and to top it off he doesn’t like to pay on time making daily life quite uncomfortable most of the time. However, this crappy situation is motivating me to push Indigo Creations even harder and strive to make it the best, and preferably in a timely fashion. ;)

Hello to everyone from Srbija!

I’m the cofounder of educational media startup GlobalNiche.net http://globalniche.net.

We empower the global you with micro brand building, creative entrepreneurship and global community development, using 25 years of expatriate experience, new tech and the social web, bringing together Web 3.0 & Life 3.0. (By the way, Web 3.0 is where the web is going. Life 3.0 is where we are going. Making meaning of our data…and from there, finding purpose!)

I love to witness a person’s global niche suddenly materialize and spark a joyful exploration of her interests….a first-time view of her best and complete self, and a plan to bring it to the world. The release of energy when a person’s life comes together in a global niche is like nuclear fusion!

Hi,

Thank you for the opportunity. We take care of peoples’ pets while they are on vacation. This has been a very rewarding experience for us and for our customers who know that they can go away without the worry of leaving their pets behind!

Hi Farnoosh and Community,
What a fun journey down the page to this spot! I started taking notes of websites I want to visit.
I’m in transition. I am here kicking and screaming and would love to have my life of two years ago back again. I was writing English lessons for a company in South Korea, teaching a few college classes and managing care for and totally loving my daughter. Life got turned up side down a few days after my daughter’s 15th birthday when she (with the full support of everyone who loved her) made the decision to stop all medical treatment. She lived her whole life with a host of medical issues and was considered a medically fragile child. She died about three weeks later.

Even before Maddie enter those final difficult months, I had been reaching out to support other families with medically fragile children. I have created several significant events (one of which won an award a few days before Maddie died) and started a blog. I am in the process of working my way through the 501C3 process in creating a non-profit organization to address issues like respite care, transportation (huge issue for most families who have a child who uses a wheelchair), and advocacy.

I have a lot to learn and appreciate what I am finding here. Thank you!!!

This page is a really great idea! Thank you Farnoosh!

I am very new to the blog world. I recently obtained my masters in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Behavior Analysis and I work as a behavior therapist for children with autism. I have always dreamed of having my own magazine, but never really went after that dream. It was something I could never get out of my head and I am a firm believer in that if you can’t stop thinking about something you should go after it! I finally decided to go after my dreams and start an online magazine.

It has only been a month, but I’m loving it so far and the reactions I am getting from readers! It has been such a amazing feeling getting to do what I love! I am still working full-time so I devote as much time as I can to the site, let me know if anyone has tips of balancing a regular job with a blog!

The magazine is updated 3-4x weekly with articles on improving relationships, productivity, health, happiness, and overall quality of life. The articles have been derived from my studies in behavior analysis.

I would love for you to check it out and let me know what you think!

My first Reboot was unintentional. I bounced from the steamy stripper poles of New Orleans to the comfortable Brooks Brothers khakis and blue checkered shirts of Birmingham, Alabama.I was three weeks old. I had just been adopted into an amazing family, my family, along with my twin sister Meredith.

And you know what?

I grew up feeling like I won some cosmic lottery.

From there my future Reboots took me to India, Brazil, Connecticut (no, seriously), Nashville, TN, the mountains, beaches, and jungles of Ecuador, and a dozen other countries (currently in Chile). I helped take a company public. I went to a training session for the freak show and learned how to swallow swords. I worked for eight months across from a psychic surgeon and shaman. I helped internationally launch a mobile tech company in partnership with the world’s second largest telecommunications company. I modeled for a Russian fashion designer. I lived in a treehouse in India. I had a lot of fun. I considerably upped my “life force.”

I have walked in many worlds and have learned many amazing things about what it takes to “breakthrough” and create a life that works.

Now I have written a book called 33 Ways to Reboot Your Life that condenses the best of what I have learned into a direct, no-nonsense suggestions of experiments you can try to double your energy, improve your health, and make more of an impact.

Just one suggestion from this book might be the “boost” that you are looking for.

I just found your site and I love it! Thanks for setting up this area as well. A brilliant idea.

I actually found you in my search for information about discovering yourself. 6 months ago, I realized a strength I’ve had for some time in helping to bring transformation in people. I started a project called Ending Average to help people break free from average and create an exceptional life of adventure, passion and purpose.

Wow! Fantastic site, I’m not sure how I stumbled across it but I’m happy that I did. Your words are clear, fascinating and motivating, can’t wait to hear more. My name is Susan and I too work in the corporate world. I do have a passion and over the past 2 years have been working very hard during all of my off time to get my internet business up and running. Things are moving more quickly now and I finally see progress. I am nervous yet excited. I offer the most creative digitally produced virtual greeting card unlike any other. I’m offering it at a low price point and cannot wait for the launch. Hopefully within the next two months. I live on Long Island and I’ve been looking for Entrepreneur groups to join so I can do some networking. My worst fear is knowing that I will not be able to leave my corporate job until my business begins to roll in profits. So I will continue to market and reach out to the world one step at a time in all the free time I have. I’m so excited and look for any great advice anyone has to offer. I’m thinking a mentor is order at this point, I’m so alone in this, it gets a little scary. No doubts though! I am confident Greeting Haven will be the successful business I know it will be. Thanks for the taking the time to listen,. :)

Thanks Farnoosh for giving us a place to speak up.

I write from a small country in Eastern Europe, Moldova. I see a lot of people here from a variety of countries all over the world. Internet makes the world smaller!

I practiced karate for 15 years. It was a great life experience. I’ve lost feeling the humiliation. I won, feeling that winning is not a big of deal. It’s just a step further you make in life.

Some things I’ve learned are closely related to our own body and mind. I’m worried that many people don’t take seriously about caring for their health. I write at http://massagedreams.com about long term health tips and I don’t relate to pills or modern medicine.
