If you are a blogger, a writer, a social media enthusiast and live in Australia or New Zealand, join us!
Where else to celebrate 2011 year-end but in the Southern Hemisphere?.
I am ecstatic to be visiting Australia and New Zealand yet again, along with my husband, Andy, from late November to early January. This is a remarkable opportunity to seek the pleasure of meeting as many of my fellow bloggers, Tweeps, online community and family as well as make new connections with you.
Who am I, you ask?
Well, here’s a short and sweet mash-up of my make-up: A corporate escapee, originally from Iran, passionate writer, author, blogger, speaker, career and life coach, a digital entrepreneur, a world traveler and an aspiring photographer. I absolutely LOVE to meet new people, networking with brilliant like-minded people is better than eating a gelato in Italy (that’s saying a lot), and it’s my sincere wish to meet more such people in my trip down-under. And here’s the formal About page if you wish to learn more.
Now on with the upcoming show!
This page is all about the fabulous, fun upcoming meet-ups in Melbourne, Sydney and Wellington, in that order. I am grateful to the fantastic help of those who have volunteered. If you are in the neighborhood, please stop by and join us!
to expand your circle of influence, meet new friends, share your art and your genius, and let’s learn from each other in a fun, fabulous setting.

In 2005, a miracle of an occasion came upon us: My work at the time decided to send me Down Under for teaching a class. It was a dream we hadn’t even dared to dream: to visit Australia. We set foot in Sydney in January of 2005 and spent two unforgettable weeks there. I took the train to Chatswood everyday for work, but we also scheduled in a lot of pleasure and fun.
Australia made an indelible impression on my husband and me. From the Sydney Opera House to the Sunday market and sun-filled parks and street musicians and walks in the dusk, I must admit that I have missed Sydney for years. Our memories are still vivid and finally, we are coming back. We are beyond excited to be returning to warm climate and warmer people yet!

Then off to New Zealand …
If your work is going to send you all the way to Australia, it is but an obligation to add on a few days of holiday and explore. And off to exploring we went. We spent over a week in the North Island of New Zealand, all the while hearing how the South Island is prettier and that we are missing it all out.
We still can’t imagine how that is possible, as Mother Nature was more than indulgent with the North Island. But we had to satiate our curiosity, so we return to re-visit Wellington before hop to go to the South Island for a few days of sight seeing and meeting new friends.
