About Farnoosh

Profile-Photo-FarnooshProlific Living was born in my thoughts early in 2008, long before I had any idea what to call it and how to create it. The early seeds of our passions come to us in barely visible or audible forms and all we have to do is tune in and really pay attention. I have wanted to write about my own stupendous experiences in this life for a while now.

Throughout my teenage, college, graduate, and early career years, I put my heart and soul into my education and my work.  I sacrificed countless hours and opportunities for play time, travel, adventures, friendships, hobbies and most of all, pursuit of my passions. I delayed listening to my real passions for far too long. The years of professional credentials have helped me built a career I am proud of and granted me unique experiences and a comfortable life along the way.

Yet, a few years ago I felt pangs of desire to do more, to create, to build, to draw, to paint, to dance, to read, to travel far and frequently. I decided to stop waiting and to pursue the passions which make me happiest. I wanted to find equanimity in my life. I wanted to recognize and find the missing pieces from my happiness.

My motivation behind the search for these missing pieces can be summed up in a drive for self-improvement, the mad desire to learn and grow, and the determination to reach my potential. There is no finish line to the goals which I pursue. There is no state of ultimate attainment. In yoga, in public speaking, in Argentine tango, in eating well, in the pursuit of foreign language skills, in learning about other cultures, in finding new and exciting locales to visit in this world, there can be no completion of such tasks to perfection in one lifetime. There is only a journey where the self evolves, explores, grows, learns, grows more, and repeats the cycle. It is in these ounces of self-improvement that I find my deep inspiration and conviction to push further, to aim higher, to live fuller.

With a heart on fire to make up for lost time, and an insatiable appetite for new experiences, I am grateful to have stumbled upon so many channels through which I can feed my passions. With a mad love for yoga, a voracious appetite for reading, a restless heart for travel and adventure, a dedication to public speaking and a true commitment to eating well and knowing food, to just name a few, I have found boundless energy and excitement for life all over again.  Yet the running theme among these affairs  is singular: They all promote living well, living fully, living healthy, living aware, living decidedly and proudly, living a prolific life.

I have made a pledge to my writing approach, to which I shall stay true. No subject is off limits so long as I find it is aligned to the theme of prolific living and that it can inspire my readers in that regard. And so prolific living is a modern perspective on age old habits of living well and fully; I write as I evolve through this fabulous life and I aim to write timeless content which will stand the test of time. My intention is to plant seeds of belief in my readers that they too can live a prolific life.

All my best to my beloved readers who inspire me to create, document, share, and produce prolific content for prolific living, I thank you and I write for you.
