(I have the same problem with Stephen King -- he'll build up a great, suspenseful story, but the villain turns out to something ridiculous like a demon or a giant glowing spider...) They've at least tried to explain time-travel, mysterious healing, etc., but I'm dying to see if they can come up with a semi-rational explanation for the smoke monster, the body possession, etc. I did see that the producers consulted with a CalTech physicist a few days ago, so I remain hopeful.
