Oh really? This is not the 1995 version with Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet...Ok I admit it's not as good as the Pride & Prejudice with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle but I so enjoyed it. No matter....I can understand actor dynamics being poor. The 2005 (or later) version of the same movie (S&S) with Kiera Knightly was awful. I stopped watching half-way!

Oh Farnoosh ... I have seen it, a couple of times and just don't love it BUT I am looking forward to seeing it again close to a reading of the book. It's the actors - they just don't seem right - but I'll reserve judgement. You never know. :-)

My favourite quote probably won't come until March as I think it's in volume 3 but you never know!

My dear Sue, you shall *love* the 1995 version - just thinking about it makes me envious of you and I have seen it at least 3 times - this from a person who hardly watches movies all over again because "I've already it seen it, you see?" ;)!
And don't keep me waiting too long....! I can't wait to hear your quote....Happy Austen reading.

Such a lovely thoughtful post Farnoosh ... I do love Sense and sensibility, and will rewatch the 1995 movie when I've finished this latest review. As I think I said on my response to you on my post, I have a favourite quote, but you'll have to wait until I get to volume 3!!

Hey Zengirl, thank you. I created the chart using an application called Mindjet Manager, it's for brainstorming and it's available for both Mac and PC. So glad to know another Jane Austen fan!!!

Farnoosh,
Great review. I like everything Jane Austen and this is the first book that was published by her. How did you create a chart of book characters? Looks so cool.
