I loved that movie, and Rodney Dangerfield is an unbelievable character. “Rage against the dying of the light, do not go gently into that goodnight and …” <== thank you for sharing and I send you the best wishes in your battle. I have arthritis, and every day it gets a little more challenging and painful to move. Every day, the arthritis wins a little more. I know it’s not going to go away. However, knowing that does not oblige me to make it easy for arthritis to win. Every day I give arthritis the finger is another day that *I* win. If I wake up and discover that arthritis has taken that finger, I’ll use another one. When I run out of fingers, I’ll use toes. When I run out of fingers, I’ll stick my tongue out. Do what you can (which is usually a lot more than we think we can), live with what you can’t, rage against the dying of the light, do not go gently into that good night, and don’t take crap from nobody! (loosely paraphrased from Rodney Dangerfield in “Back to School”)
